What can Ecommerce do for you?

Electronic commerce means much more than just placing a catalogue online. Horisk develop E-commerce solutions that range from simple shopping basket style websites to complex configuration, ordering and online booking processes. When developing ecommerce solutions it is important to understand the process from end-to-end. This can include
- attracting the initial customer visit to your website using Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) techniques and online advertising campaigns, affiliate marketing (adwords)
- structuring your website with the customer in mind so that information is easy to find and the products you are selling are clearly signposted
- developing a clear and straightforward user-experience for the buying or online ordering process
- integrating the online process with your existing back-end systems, or developing new processes
- providing tools for customers to track delivery and manage their account information
- follow-up marketing and customer relationship management
As well as simple shopping baskets, we can develop more complex online order or booking processes with availability constraints, such as those required for accommodation or permit booking.
If your needs are simpler, we can assist in setting up and configuring off-the-shelf or open-source e-commerce packages.
We also advise on payment providers and develop interfaces to various payment systems.
We provide back-end content management systems (CMS) to allow you to keep your website fresh and up-to-date, configure product availability and view sales reports.
